Chandler Jones has made headlines recently due to social media posts that have bashed the team.
He is currently away from the team, and his status for the Raiders’ opening game is now in question.
Some of Jones’ recent tirades were shared via Vic Talfur, which included a comment that said, “Anybody interview them and ask why I’m not on the team?”

Jones is continually coming after the organization, wondering why he’s not with the team.

While Jones’ absence might be for more reasons than currently meet the eye, he is one of their best defenders.
Not having him on the field could be devasting for a Raiders team that is seeking an improved season this year.
They finished the 2022 season with a 6-11 record, their worst since 2018.
The Raiders’ first game of the year is against the Denver Broncos, a division rival.
The longer Jones stays away from the team, the larger of an impact that it’ll make on this defense that could use his presence.
However, if the team remains unhappy with these antics, he might not get that opportunity.
This situation is difficult for the Raiders at the moment, and it’ll be something for fans to monitor moving forward.
