Analyst Names 2 Teams That Could Target Cooper Kupp

Big news came down in the NFL when wide receiver Cooper Kupp revealed that the Los Angeles Rams are looking to trade him.

Kupp admitted he doesn’t like that decision, but the rumor mill is churning with a number of teams being mentioned as potential destinations for the former All-Pro.

ESPN analyst Andrew Hawkins recently named two teams that would benefit from adding Kupp.

“I’m looking at places like the [Dallas] Cowboys, the [Buffalo] Bills or another team,” Hawkins said, via NFL on ESPN.

The Cowboys, who were 7-10 this season, have plenty of needs, and one of those is a legitimate No. 2 wideout next to CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb made the Pro Bowl for a fourth straight year, but his production fell compared to last season, and adding another weapon such as Kupp could help prevent opposing defensive backs from keying on him.

The Bills are coming off another heartbreaking playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and after they moved on from Stefon Diggs this past offseason, they lack a bona fide No. 1 wideout.

Kupp hasn’t been able to duplicate the production he had in 2021 when he registered 145 receptions, 1,947 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns, but he remains a threat at age 31.

This season, he caught 67 passes for 710 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games, and he has a Super Bowl championship from that 2021 campaign, which is the type of experience the Cowboys and Bills sorely need.
