Analyst Turns Heads With Bold NFC North Prediction

The 2025 NFL season is about to begin, meaning that it’s officially time to make some wild predictions.

With that in mind, analyst Kyle Brandt shared his thoughts on the NFC North.

Talking on “Good Morning Football,” Brandt said the Chicago Bears will win the division.

“NFC North. Such a good division. With so much change and so much unproven, you have to go with what is solid and established … no, you don’t. Bear down! Bear down! Ben Johnson is going to work. Caleb [Williams] is going to work. It’s all going to work. It is a knife fight in the NFC North, and I believe that the Chicago Bears, the pride and joy of Illinois, will win the NFC North in 2025. Believe it. Own it. This is real. This is happening,” Brandt said.

Even with all the doubts about Williams and whether the second-year quarterback will be able to live up to the lofty expectations after a rough rookie season, hiring head coach Ben Johnson was a huge step in the right direction.

The Bears bolstered the offensive line, aiming to make sure Williams isn’t the most sacked quarterback in the league again.

They also added prime weapons in tight end Colston Loveland and wide receiver Luther Burden III in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Bears already had a solid defense, so they look like a more well-rounded team.

However, as for winning the division, that’s a whole different story.

The Green Bay Packers became a legitimate Super Bowl contender with the addition of edge rusher Micah Parsons, and they’ve had the Bears’ number in recent years.

The Detroit Lions had the best record in the NFC last season, and though they lost their two coordinators, one of whom was Johnson, they still have one of the most stacked rosters in the league.

Last but not least, the Minnesota Vikings are well-coached and elite on defense, so this will be one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.
