Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are mentioned as potential candidates to land Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen this month.

The Dane has been a regular starter for Barcelona under manager Xavi, but he has been linked with a departure amid the club’s financial issues.

Every player in the squad has a price and Fichajes claim that United and Spurs are keen on bringing him back to the Premier League.

Christensen was a vital figure at the back for the Blues, but they were unable to keep him. He decided to join Barcelona on a free in 2022.

United are currently in a difficult position in regards to Financial Fair Play and they may only afford a loan deal with an option to buy.

Spurs are in a position to spend some money on permanent signings, but they may not offer more than £30 million for the centre-back.

Christensen is currently content with the proceedings at Barcelona but may consider a return to England if the club force him through the door.
